We know that stigma can be a huge barrier for those accessing reproductive healthcare, whatever their age and stage of life. That’s why we are delighted to have secured new funding from the Department of Health and Social Care Women’s Health and Wellbeing Fund to fight stigma and improve the lives of Cornwall residents experiencing menopause in the workplace.
Brook’s new Menopause Support Programme will empower women, and those experiencing menopause, to feel supported to remain in work or return to work.

Brook’s specialists deliver free in-person or online training to organisations in Cornwall around menopause and workplace support. These can be organised on a day and time that suits you and your staff.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes – 2 hours | For: All employees
Raise awareness of menopause with your employers, including what it is, it’s potential impact on mental and physical health and ways you can support colleagues.
With so many myths and misconceptions about menopause, this session is a great option if you’re looking to foster a menopause-friendly working environment in which all staff have an improved understanding of menopause and can support colleagues.
Duration: 2 hours | For: Leaders and Managers
This session is all about supporting you, as a manager, to create a menopause-friendly work environment and support mechanisms. You’ll learn about menopause, it’s symptoms and how it affects people differently and ways you can support employees or colleagues. Included in this session is a 30-minute Q&A session for you to get more specific support with any areas you need to develop.
This is a great training session if you’re looking to develop organisation-wide menopause practices and policies but need some tips and ideas of where to start.
